Directions to North Side Marina and Resort

North Side Marina is located in a beautiful secluded setting about 50 miles northwest of Fort Worth, 50 miles from Lewisville, 40 miles from Texas Motor Speedway and Denton, 65 miles from Frisco/Plano and 70 miles from downtown Dallas. Maps and detailed directions are provided below.

By Water , North Side is located at the North End of Lake Bridgeport, not far from Wise County Park. North Side is located in the Three Fingers Cove at the fork in the Lake. Enter the no wake zone and you will find the marina settled comfortably back towards the left side of the cove.

By Land, North Side Marina is located in a remote, beautiful Texas Hill country setting, maps, directions and distances are provided below:

Arlington/Ballpark - 65 miles (follow Forth Worth directions)

Decatur - 20 miles Take 287N to 1810W through Chico. Take a right on 101 N in Chico then immediate left (at 2nd gas station) back onto 1810W. Watch for large Sunset Bay signs at several turns, we are very near the new development on the lake. Follow 1810 W for 5 miles and turn left onto County Road (CR) 1745 (Sunset Bay sign on left 1/4 mile before the turn) also there is a TARGA gas plant sign at corner. You are now on the beautiful 7 mile scenic drive to North Side. Go immediately past the gas plant for 3.5 miles to a stop sign and turn right (watch for signs). Go 1.5 miles and take left fork in road (signs). Go 1.5 miles and take LEFT fork (Follow large North Side Sign with arrow to LEFT -- Sunset Bay sign points right). Go Left here for about 1 more mile. You will see signs for North Side parking. Pull off road into drive/parking area and walk down to the office. We will show you where to park closer when you check in.

Denton - 40 miles (Take 35N to 380W to Decatur then follow Decatur directions)

DFW Airport - 65 miles (Take 114W to 287N North follow 287N to Decatur then follow directions from Decatur above)

Chico - 10 miles Watch for large Sunset Bay signs at several turns, we are very near the new development on the lake. Follow 1810 W for 5 miles and turn left onto County Road (CR) 1745 (Sunset Bay sign on left 1/4 mile before the turn) also there is a TARGA gas plant sign at corner. Downtown Bridgeport - 15 miles (Take 101N to 1810W in Chico. Follow Chico directions above.

Downtown Dallas - 70 miles (Take 35E to 380W North of Denton, Take 380W to Decatur and then follow Decatur directions above.

Fort Worth - 50 miles. Take 35W North to 287North to Decatur, then follow Decatur directions.

Lewisville - 50 miles. 35E North to 380W to Denton, Take 380W to Decatur and then follow Decatur directions.

Plano/Frisco/McKinney - 65 miles. Take 380W to Decatur, then follow Decatur directions (use bypass in Dentor) or take 121 to Lewisville and follow Lewisville directions.

Runaway Bay - 20 miles. See Bridgeport directions.

Southlake - 60 miles. Take 114W to 287N to Decatur, then follow Decatur directions.

Texas Motor Speedway - 40 miles. Take 114W to 287N to Decatur, then follow Decatur directions above.

Wichita Falls - 75 miles. Take 287S approx 55 miles to 101S (Sunset/Bridgeport exit). Take 101S to Chico. Turn right on 1810W (Phillips 66 on right and Subway on left at 1810W intersection). Follow Chico Directions above from here
